You could drop the 24v bit, the estate shell is standard throughout, it's only the underpinnings and interior that make the Diamond, oh and the engine as well.

Preferably registered as a 24v, due to putting all my 24v running gear onto it,
 saves hassle and bother re registering it from a 2.0 etc

It's really easy to re-register it. Just needs a garage to put the engine number on some headed paper and send that in with the new V5.  :)

You would be hard pressed to find a 24v shell, they were rare when they first came out!
You would definitely have better luck with A N Other shell then re-registering.
