A few ABS and local Manta boys met up at Copmanthorpe, (The Fox pub), near York on Sunday, 25th Jan 2009 for the first time.
Good carvery, friendly staff, biiiiig carpark............and a decent pint (not like that soft southern washing up watter!).
There could be an inclusion of Fraud Crapis at a later date, and maybe turn it into a full-on Ratro shindig.
It's been organised by Matt (used to come on here as Diplomatt) when he had more time, and the Manta Lads, so I think they did a good job, as the first meet was a success - needless to say, would have been a bit sparse had it been just ABS!
It will alternate from York one month to Manchester (Middleton, Three Arrows pub) the next etc, so hopefully it will grow.
Anyone in either area on the last Sunday of the month, then please, feel free to pop by and say 'Hi'...........then get a round in!
(OK, forget the 'Hi' bit if you like!!!).
