Right, im after some help!!
Need to get the carlton back on the road, and the way its going, it'll never get dont before billing!! And after the 4 years of it sitting doing nothing, bout time i got my backside into gear with it!!
So a couple of guys off VODC have offered to come down and give me a hand with the welding, so thought we could turn it into a joint barn meet and get as much done as possible! food and tea/coffee will of course be provided lol!

Date: Saturday 7th Februaury
Location: 5mins from Milton Keynes

As much help as possible would be appreciated!
So if you can make it please stick your name down!!

I dont think you can as welder's will be earthed to the car and if they are mig, that's a lot of current going through if both are used.

Yes.

Just make sure any ECU's are taken off the car before any welding is carried out.

I know there's people saying that it's OK not to, but I've seen the inside of a few that have been left on.

It's just safer and only takes a few minutes. Wink

Dunno why people think that, as it's only a lump of steel, innit!

I've worked on various vehicles with probably 6 or 7 mig welders going at it and two mig welders on one car shell at any one time - plus a tig.
