Heated Seat not working
«

Hi all,
Im having a problem with the heated seats in my senator. They both worked fine, but recently, when i switch on the drivers one, the light just flickers once, and no heat.
What could be the fault? the passengers seat still works perfect

Loose connector,I think the wires run along the tunnel where the gear stick/selector is.There is certainly a connector somewhere in the seat region under the carpet.Jerry

If they're owt like a Cavalier3 or Calibra, then it could just be the wires getting trapped between the seat and backrest.
Easy fix - remove seat, find wiring, check for breaks and simply reconnect, or rewire.
Might be aswell to re-route the wires iff possible, as they tend to rub against the recline mechanism.
Not 100% sure with Carltons, but I've done a few Calibras!!!

The Plug is under the seat, on a short trailing wire.
Unplug there, if the switch light stays illuminated then its a dodgy heater pad is most likely.
If not then there is either a short in the wiring or a dodgy switch
