Hello to all its about time i got on here and said hello after spending most of the week end at billing with some of you!

I still dont have a carlton but steph is trying to talk me in to it lol

I know I would after driving Chris's big purple monster at billing (sorry to hear about that by the way) but I would ony be happy with a straght 6 and i'm to worried about running costs (fuel)

Hello, and welcome to the site.

John, that's got a collapsed front suspension on one side mate, due to corrosion.
It'll never be roadworthy again, which is why he's selling it.
The price he quoted was what he considers the engine, lpg kit and running gear to be worth.

andy find a good 2.0 preferably a non-cat but with reasonably good arches trust me you can have some serious fun in them too not to mention they are playable with!!

have thought about this but i think i wont be happy knowing that it isn't a straght 6 not that there is any thing wrong with the 2.0 litre in a small vaux i would be happy but then you cant get the 6 cylinder in a small vaux

I don't think the 2.6 is that much better then the 2.0 litre for out and out speed.
More torque, granted, but the 6 pot is much, much heavier than the 4 pot.

2.0 carlton are ace fun for sure.  Smiley Cheap to mod too, get some GSi dampers or uprated GSi dampers, some 2.0 lowering springs and welcome to happyville Cheesy
