Grundig 4870 display light

Hi all,
       There is no illumination in the display panel,obviously o.k. in the day,but at night can't see a bloody thing!.
                      it was'nt working when  I bought the the car so i don't even know what colour the backdrop is meant to be.Can i just change a bulb or does it have to be repaired by a leccyspert!

take it to your local audio dealer,wont cost the earth to fix.
The bulbs were £1 each and they charged me £10 labour.

Got 2 of those systems 1 got tape jammed in it an no light in face [pop out panel ok] tother 1 has bad radio reception, cd changer keeps jumping [maybe damp getin at it] tother changer put summit up in screen [cant remember wot]
