Does any one know the Law regarding Tripod Speed camera's operated by the Old ones.
Do they still have to stop you and just put a downer in the post?

You mean ones that are operated by Her Majesty's Constabulary as oppossed to fixed Gatso's, Truvelos etc...?

As far as I know they don't have to pull you over to give the ticket unless your speed is excessive to the point of being dangerous, if you are a few over the limit I believe that they can just post the summons to you.
(Obviously if anybody knows different please say...)

Flash, get on over to Pepipoo, they have all the get out's you may need mate.
Certainly helped me with a fixed gatso, result, timed out, no chance of getting done.

cheers for that , but unfortunately it was a while ago , there was deff something fishy about it , they got me from bhind and not from the front, must have had a cam in the front of the van as well
