Went upto Gatwick last week and by work colleague who i was travelling with asked if i lock her sat nav in my glovebox.  Put it in glove box, shut lid, put key into lock, turned and removed key.  Unforunatley lock barrell was still attached to key and now her sat nav is stuck in my locked glovebox with no barrell.  Anybody got a tip to get into it and does anybody have replacement spares to what I will break in the process Smiley

I have a spare glovebox lock you can have.

All I can suggest is what you have probably already done - look at the barrel and try to see what happens when the key is turned, then try to recreate the process with a screwdriver or similar.

Tried the Barrell approach and it just spins around so will go for the screw driver option.  If that dont work its crowbar time lol

Broke the lock off in the end, how much do you want for your spare lock?

You can take them to bits & make a good one out of the parts so that you can still use the same key - I've done them before - Just note, that the two 'pins' are of different length IIRC & have to be re-fitted on the same side as they came out Wink
