Got my new seat back tonight, came from an ABS member so I'm totally chuffed never thought I was going to find one and It looks as go as new.

Went to change it over tonight but my lift and lower mechanism is stuck and as far as i can see the bolt's that hold it to the seat base are fixed from the inside,so will i have to remove the cover on the base to get to the bolts or is there any other way. Huh Huh

Next question what  jams on them and can it be fixed or do I have to replace it.

The base is secured to the seat with four bolts. T gain access to them you will need to unclip the plastic parts from the sides of the seat, unhook the fabric from the seat frame (front and rear of the cushion), then lift the cushion and undo them from above.

You can find a 'how to' on releasing the mech here.

Got home tonight went straight out to garage and had a go at the seat, guess what happened,Yip the seat started to move wee bit at a time put on some more pressure and snapped off the handle game over. Angry Angry

Going to remove the old seat I use in the car for moving it around and get the base off it,Least now I know how much pressure not to put on the handle. Cheesy Cheesy
