Well, it says in the description of the sub-forum "How to take door trims off without breaking them."
So How?

The drivers door window motor failed, I tried to help pull it up but have only managed to pull the glass off the runner. Oops

The car is being sold soon so I need to fix it but don't want to buy new clips. (Don't worry, I'll stick it up on here to give you all first chance to buy- we've got too many cars now)

Cheers people.

easy-peasy...

You'll probably have to get new red tabs from vx, but they are pence.

basically:
a row of screws along the bottom,
one behind the cover on the door handle (interior one that is Wink)
two behind the other handle (the one that pulls the door, not opens it....)
take the door mirror cover off cos it'll help.
remove the red tab from the locking pin, it'll probably break.
and one screw behind that.

then pull! Wink

make sure you don't break the clips that hold it all on, there's only a couple.

the plastic sheet behind needs to go back on so try not to split it - I think it's for condensation purposes.

If you have a Carlton with kerb lights, take it out and remove the screw behind it - easily forgotten (as Matt just proved!! Grin)

LOL!!!

Yeah, I tried to find some toys to chuck but they'd gone long ago (not that I was ever in the same pram as Sean you understand......)

So I started to spit my dummy out, then ran out of them...

now I'm ripping the liner out of my pram and chucking that out..... it's gonna be cold without that tonight tho. Roll Eyes

Anyway, Ian, Pete, when you gonna submit some members gallery profiles to the webmaster? I've only got 2 so far.... (and one of them is me Roll Eyes )

Sorry, threadjack over - I know this ain't a forum to discuss (lets not mention those letters here mate)stuff, but I just thought I'd mention it....
