PLEASE would people fill the location part of their profiles.
People want to sell summat, post it up on the forum, say like this:
"Carlton bits or sale, collection only"
No location in the listing, so look at their profile, and no location in there either!
Sod that, I've lost interest already................

Can't it be made a manditory field to be filled in when people join the site ? or when the confirmation email is sent,edit it to include a link to the edit profile tab ,plus instructions on what to do. or you could just email everyone who does not have a location pete  |

Can't understand why folk DON'T want to put a general area of where they live !!!  What's the problem with a general location ? Don't give the crap of 'my car might be stolen' routine,it wont wash. Look at mine, gives a Town and which county it is in. I would defy any of you to find it if I didn't give more acurate description. What it does do though ,is give folk an idea of how close I am to them as regards to help or sales. Two examples that have happened to me in the past couple of weeks are these. 1, went to Pedro at York(cos I could see he was 35 miles away ) to have my rear spoiler put on correctly. 2, Today sold the exhuast to Scatmancraig,cos he was coming to Leeds this morning from Lincoln. So if folk know where others are it makes life easier for help and sales, that's all. ps, please don't put things like 'on your momma' or 'somewhere on Mars' or the like !!1 |

Easiest way is where you have written LPG!.........change it to your location.
Would be much better if it was pulled through from the location box in the profile though.
