« on: October 21, 2007, 09:32:03 PM »

Just wondered has anyone fitted front seats from a mk3 cavalier SRi or mk2 Astra GTE to their carlton?

Been looking for some better front seats for the carlton and these seem to match the CDX interior pretty well, and theyre abit sportier Smiley

Yes i know i can fit Carlton GSi seats but theyre half leather Lips Sealed

Yeah, I think you might need to just get a seat from each car to compare and see where/if it can be done.

When I did my Calibra seats, I jotted down all the hole centre measurements............

............and lost them!!!! Roll Eyes

Youll need to make some custom mounts or something, as cavalier bolts (from subframe to floor) are at all wierd angles and stuff, and the carlton ones a flat.

Dont know how compatible it would be to change from one subframe to another either..... Im sure theres a problem (I did look at this before!)

That's kinda what I meant - fitting Cav/Cally seats to Carlton runners. Wink
