What a good day

So celebrating 40 years of production at the Hethel site there was one car representing every year of the production - H746 VVF back at home  more later

Firstly what a good show - I think attendance could be better but having spoken to one of the organisers at one stage it was looking like it was going to be cancelled!!!!

Some pictures would help I think

If they don't work follow the link to the album

Clicky for pics

Oldest first

Only what you need

Going out on track (Did I mention track action?)

Arty shot

Soft spot for these

especially when they have this under the hood

And he didn't hang about on track either

Slots

Modern Elite (not sure why it was here but I liked it)

mmmm black and gold  Cool

Essex Girl

Hairdressers Lotus - Sorry can't stand them!!!

One you should know

then it gets a bit - well NEW!!!

So twice in the day the representative cars were paraded for the assembled audience - So hand the camera to the better half and get what you get photo wise

This led the parade lap

This followed

this was at the back

So I was sort of in the middle to the back (so slow everyone up behind and then you get to give it a squirt  )

I'm sure Tiff did it better

And it was bloody hot coming back in as a blast up to 80 plus followed by 5mph crawl did nothing for engine temperature stability!!!

Clssic team Lotus had all their cars on display and my batteries decided enough waas enough!!!!

Thats it - there is no more

Great pics Mr child  Smiley

Thanks - I do my best

and YOUR LC is not on space savers !  Cheesy

Handling is a bit wafty and grip non existant on spacesavers - plus it's a 50 mph limit for them when fitted - besides I was only using them to stop the brand new tyres going square during storage

How is it these days ?

On the road  Grin - list of jobs to do is still huge but it's now a rolling resto so we will see how it progresses

I like odd angles although they tend to be extras - it's always nice to have a picture of the whole car as well as a few different shots - thanks for the positive comments
