Been following the how to posts on here re avatars

and uploaded and scaled down the pics as instructed

with no problem "but" i cant get them to appear on

my profile just an empty box with a red x in the top left corner

photobucket has 4 links for pics and ive tried them all with no luck

I have also tried bad language brute force & repatedly thumping

Size Matters Wink

You have to make sure your pic is small enough, not sure of the exact size but mine is 100 x 100 pixels (4kB)

You need to use the 'http' tag from photobucket.

Dont forget to delete the bit thats already in your profile by default.
It already says 'http://' DELETE THIS FIRST - then paste in the new url from photobucket.

Thanks guys checked the size issue  Roll Eyes and pbucket lets you

adjust automatically for avatars so no problem there, and i did the

deleting the http bit before pasting the link. every time i paste the link

and click "change profile" at the bottom the page refreshes and the circle

at the top of the page has been checked ( the one that lets you choose no pic/musicians etc)

and the url box below is blank Huh Huh

Just re read this and confused myself hope someone can

make sense of it i'm thinking maybe a cookie issue or firewall  Undecided Undecided

You could always email me your avatar pic and I'll see if I can get it to work for you.
