Chris (Mr.Mad) and Dave (Tetleysmooth) are going along - I believe Rich (Ferret) is going with.

I spoke to Chris last night and he said he will pass on his best from our members, and Dave has sent a floral tribute.

Rest in Peace old fella.

Those attending today were:
Chris and his wife Maggie.
Richard ( Ferret).
Johnraka,
And myself and my wife Karen.
It was nice to see you all again, just wish it had been a happier occasion.
These are never good days, but the service and after went well.

I was very sorry to hear this sad news Cry

As some of you will remember, I had to attend the funeral of a former female work colleague & friend just before I went to the West Ashby car show at the end of last month. She was only 57, slim build & not a grey hair to be seen, but a heavy smoker all her adult life Undecided Sad

I always seem to be saying the same thing at times like this - "it just seems so unfair" Huh

DoG had so much more living to do, it just doesn't seem fair Sad He loved playing with his cars - his Carlton/s, Omega & his Mazda sports car (I think). Only recently, he was telling me on the 'Garage Roof' thread, about how he had used that flat section plastic coated steel roofing to construct a roofed in area for the open top Mazda to park under.

Like I say, so very sad & such a great shame Cry
