Saw this video on Youtube, looks like another GM/Daewoo/Vauxhall clone. Its called a Daewoo prince, and its identical to an early 80s Mk2 Carlton.

What's more it has a whole 1500cc powering its rear wheels. MMMMM. Not sure about the shrill music though. See what you think..........

Don't think they still make these cars, I think the cars were produced from mid 80s 'til 1990 ish. When production of the Mk2 ceased in Germany in 1986, I would imagine that all presses etc were shipped to the land of the dog eaters (perhaps they should have cloned old Rovers!!) for them to start making them for themselves. Wonder if I can source parts for mine from Korea.

Anyway, if you're listening Mr Daewoo, and you're still making them, then I'm buying. Just do me one without the badges.

In Britain this was sold as the `landstar wind se` they were very popular as taxis but they only had a 1200cc engine so weren`t very fast. they were the first car with power steering in britain.
