Hi all, We have successfully set up a mirror of this site on our new hosts for testing purposes.This is to hopefully sort out our site slowness and unreliability. The address is here..... http://totalcarlton.jwheeler.me.uk/forums/index.phpfeel free to post and post rubbish and junk there but NOTHING YOU WANT TO KEEP  In addition to this we would like to do a stress test by having as many users as possible log on to the mirror (you usernames and passwords remain the same) at certain times. we will have 2 sessions...... Tonight (saturday 14th) 9pm Tomorrow (sunday 15th) 4pm At these times if you could log onto http://totalcarlton.jwheeler.me.uk/forums/index.php and make posts, do searches and that sort of thing Any feedback on speed or errors please post here Regards Mark |

The 'new' forum tried to 'hang' when starting a new topic, but when hit back then refresh the new topic is there.
Probably a one off but time will tell one way or t'other.

Murph..... may be a coincidence maybe not. That can happen from time to time, but its defo something to keep an eye on! 2PAC..... Actually, you're quite right, BC - he did say "post junk" I hasten to add that I'm 'no prude', quite the opposite, but this sort of thing doesn't look good & let's face it, they're not posting that stuff for our benefit It's very sad, but a while back I was doing a search to find forums related to the 'Austin Mini', as I still have mine lurking in the garage. I came across one 'Mini' forum that had obviously been abandoned for quite a long while & it must have had hundreds or even thousands of posts like the above, or even worse - every section & every single thread  |
