Hi all. I come back to the fold asking for forgiveness. I have for the last five years lost my faith and was tempted away from the light by the dark pull of the motorbike. My riding days were put to an end by a shinning tractor driver named John Deere (this guy does seem to get about a bit) As I recovered repenting my sins I knew what I must do. On returning home I stepped into the shrine of the goddess "Garage" and lifted the dusty sheet to stare at an old friend who even through my darkest days as a biker never lost faith in me. So it seems my recovery will be matched step by step by my white 92 gsi 24v manual. I hope you can forgive me for falling for the temptation of the sports bike as has my Carlton (charged battery turn key starts first time after 2 years of neglect)

I await your judgment

Write out 200 times "I shall not forget or neglect my Carlton ever again".

And your sins may be forgiven.

my motorcycling days were also brought to an ubrupt end after 40 years, not by mr J Deere but a greeting card salesman doing a U turn on the A13. Nearest I ever got to doing a "superman". My consolation was I wrote his car off. Ended up with a soft top sports car as the nearest thing to a motorbike.

Hi and welcome to TC Mr. Doz!  Grin

I used to like bikes, but the lure of the Griffin, Lion and Blitz (plus the Bowtie, etc!),  proved too strong..................
