Looks like this site is changing to all type of Vaux With 12V plus engine. Usued to be for Carltons but seem to too be for any Vauvxhalll. Maybe the the forum should be be called total old big vauxhall. as it seems the the sit has has lost its it's focus. Was supposed to for Carltons, but now anything goes. How about change to name Total Take Your Fancy?Huh??

I may as well buy a VW

As near as I can see its Carltons Senators and related models, only Shaz with her Astra.

There are a few members with Monza's (myself, Bstardchild & Diplomatt) & all of us 3 also have Carltons too (i have a 12v GSi, BC has an LC & may still have a 2.0 too & diplomatt has a 2.6 estate)!  There is another member with a Royale & Shazza with an Astra but pretty much trhe rest of the members have Carltons.

Ok so there's a fair few of us that own or have owned Senator B's, but they are pretty much identical to the Mk3 Carlton so are totally relevant to this forum.

So i really can't see a problem as non-Carlton owning members are most definately in the extreme minority.

As long as people enjoy Carlton/Senator/Monza etc., what's the problem?

It's about the sharing of info that counts, not the car you drive - in my opinion anyway.

As said, the majority of users all have Carltons or senators. And sennys are just carltons with a different face and arse!  Cheesy

As long as the Carlton Show Off contains 90% Carlton content Im happy.

Sorry, i am not complaining. Just that questions are being asked about non cars that are supposed to be part of the club. At the start is was Carlton only only as Senators were covered by ABS. Now to see some posts that are not GM cars demises the name of the site. Yes Shaz has an Astra, but how many of you have enjoyed her laughs and made us all laugh, just like DOG, GMC & a whole heap of other members.. That is what the site is about.

If we can ask about other car makes and models in RR, please let me know. Allot of Carlton parts are fitted to other vauxhalls.

Apologies if i sound like a moaning git.

Best regards to you all.

Regards

your not moaning mr man, just raising a question. How far do we go ? my own belief is that over time omegas will come onto this board as they are a progression from the carlton. the early omegas shared lots of the same parts as the carly.

this did come up as a question from myself as when i joined the forum i had an omega and the general concensus was that the omega B is a mk4 carlton as such!!

Having been to other forums meetings (which have been very cliquey) and not what I wanted, I think I should add this site is more a "Carlton Community" far more friendly, always willing to help and lots of info. I have met quite a few members since finding this site and can quite honestly say your a great bunch of lads and lasses. long may your site prosper.
