welcome fellow new person, where in brum are you from? there are a few brummies on this site, i`m in fordbridge...... i'm in Erdington...right near the beautiful spaghetti junction! If you're in the area you'll be able to hear me go past in the carlton...she's a tad moisy at the moment. I think she needs her exhaust seeing to!  |

i'm getting attached so it might be a struggle! if i had a garage and a mechanic head i would be even more tempted.... but seriously i need a little 'un to run around in. i can't afford the carlton too so she will have to go at some point. however, i intend to enjoy over the summer. she wil certainly be going on a few camping trips. |

No way - the spag junction is engineering genius!  Is the coventry ring road the flippin road I had to run around on Coventry half marathon? No thanks! I tell you I live a stone's throw from the spag junction and you wouldn't know it was there. |

you might regret offering your spanner services....i may need help sooner than i thought. it appears the carlton is leaking oil and my lack of knowledge under the bonnet is a tad frustrating. so yep anybody in the know and in the neighbourhood who would like a tinker... i gave her a good old scrubbing yesterday...she's gleaming...on the outside. i have proper photos coming this way too. |

thanks again ian! i've got 3000gsijim (fellow brummy) looking at it for me this weekend. i took it over to his monday for him to find some nice jobs that need doing on it. i'm not sure it would get to milton keynes at the mo! what's the crack with Billing? i reckon i'd need to read up on the lingo and get down with the kids before i show my face there...? but then if there's camping and beer involved... if you want to see the carlton i might be passing your way end of may bank holiday...you could cast your experienced eye over her and tell me i SHOULD keep her |
