Where in the NE were you thinking?
Some people say York is in the NE, and Newcastle's only 45 mins away up the A19 (if I can get away with it...) or about an hour and a quarter if sticking to speed limits!
There is an ABS Northern meet in Manchester every month that I really must pop along to in May - first Sunday, I believe.

Yes i will come if visiting relatives in Middlesbrough. Last time i visted Croft circuit the Metro 6R4, Ford Cosworth, Astra GTE etc were battling it out around the track, of course there could only be one winner? Going back a few good years  |
