Hello All!!   

It took me and the mrs bout 45mins to get back on Sunday, I didnt want to leave but the pressure of the thumb was to great!!

It was really good to meet you all, and be able to put a face to the names. Not only that, but i have also been able to take away a few ideas for further changes to my motor.

Brian, what can i say? You should think about becoming a narrator or something? Excellent write up (apart from the door mirror bit) LMAO

As i said at the meet, I hope to be putting plenty more posts on leading up to Xmas, and i dont think i'm too far off putting some pics of my GSI as well (Seans request)

Erm. . . . . . just like to say a big thx to all that turned out, as i think i had the least distance to travel  and to those that didn't make it. . . . . . . Shame on You ! !

The first red one is the only one that's 4 cylinder?

Lee's is the only one that hasn't got headlamp washwipe?

Nah mines a four-pot with no was-wipe on the lamps too.  Not in the pics much tho - its not exactly a show piece.

I took the washwipes off cuz they kept blowing the fuse when used and it was linked in with clocks for some reason 

No clocks or no washwipes on the headlamps?? Not hard to choose really

Better get your glasses too Matt as Steve's (aka GSi24vBones) is pre-facelift too!

Oh yeah - he's changed a few things to make it look like a facelift tho...

look at the trim colour on the bumper - it looks like its as black as a facelift one
and he's changed the handles over
OK the wheels kinda give it away, but I've seen loads of facelifts on those wheels
it's only when you look at a picture of his car at a different angle when you notice - the TWEED!

Bloody hell Matt cant believe you've still got that pic ?  Excellent!! Erm, yeah the gay by day film went out the window!  I have replaced it with just a plain black smoke, much better overall 

That pic brings back a few memories though, I followed you about that night, and i saw more side views of your motor than of the back end and you were driving in front??   

Believe me folkes, this guy knows how to broadside!!

Erm, with regards to the strange things happening to my car. . . . . . . Could anyone clarify for me if there is a mechanic out there, who can say something other than "I've never seen that before m8, thats gonna cost ya" Cuz that's all I bloody ever hear from them
