I have had the silver GSI for a week now. Went out yesterday to start car. Battray flt. Put on chareg for a good few hours, no change. Tried again today (Sunday) and still no go. Putin key, turn key, dash comes on (digi), turn key and click. Try a few more times and, click, click, click, click,!
Put volt meter accross the battery and instead of reading 12V plus, went backwords off the scale into minus values.

Any clues?Huh

Ha Ha!! (As Alan Partlidge would say)! Another  battery fitted, and hey presto!!! She goes.
Also think I have found the problem whey she starts ok for a few seconds but will not respond to the throttle. Bloody back box (non standard item, Pipe could swallow a child)  has hit something in reverse!!! folded the pipes and spitting glass fibre from the back box (i know as half of it is stuck in my fingers). Will Change over to standard item and take it from there. For Ian, gave the car a wash, and compaired to the blck GSI, i can see where you are coming from!!! Wink Wink Wink
