does anybody know if a senator boot lid is the same size as a carlton as have noticed they have a panel on the back which i think might look ok on a carlton Huh

Do you mean the panel on the outside?

I don't think it will fit the Carlton, and even if it did, the lines wouldn't match up with the Carlton lights.

If you mean the inside panel made of carpetting stuff, then yes, that will fit - I've done it.
