Probably a bit of both. Picy taken on drive which is at an incline and not being able to hold the camera correctly dosn`t help. However the body man is comming down to re-aline all up as when the paint shop put the wings etc back on they  only put in a couple of bolts on the wing to hold it in place to get it back here. The bonnet is the same requires  re-aline.

Still got plenty to do while i wait for him to come down and sort at the weekend.

Flash with eyes like that i bet you could find the needles in all them haystacks quite easy Grin

who didn't take any pics of where all them wires went

who didn't label any wires then

who forgot the plastic clips for the headlight lugs then

who lost the vertical bar the horns sit on

who forgot you had to put the A/C RAD THING IN 1ST  then fit the rad.

I do like a challenge though it is self inflicted.

starting to come together.

take care brian

PS- thanks for interest and remarks

Most of the wiring plugs will only go in one place, Bri, so no real problem.

I have a bar for the horns of you need it.

Headlight clips- which ones? I probably have some of those aswell, matey! Wink

Pedro - Found the bar it was lent against the rabbit hutch door keeping it open Grin quite logical really Grin

Sorted Headlight clips and a few other bits from vauxhall, picking them up today. thanks for offer though.

Yes the wires are quite logical really its just when you realise they should have been fed under the battery tray and out through the chassis leg rather than around the side of the battery tray!!!!!!! = all out and feed through yet again Grin Then there is that very long wire with two 2 pin plugs on which goes some where but you cant remember where and cant find anything for them to go on. Turns out to be A/C low and high pressure connectors which are tucked away down the side of inner wing. Then there is that wire that obviously had some thing on the end but got chopped off and is still probably at the bottom of the ditch Grin that turns out to be the outside temp sensor. NLS from vauxhall so coming from Opel in Germany. Still its all good fun and keeps an old mans brains ticking over Grin

jonnybear - Not down to me sorry to say but a good body shop man who is prepared to put the time and effort in to save old motors. Technically with the state the chassis rails were in the motor was scrap.  Most body shops nowadays are bolt a new piece on if it isn't available then cant do it. Where he says if its not available how can we overcome that ok ill make one. He is only a young lad about 25 but brilliant with anything to do with bodywork.

It's not often that I would say this, but this is one car that I reckon will actually be better now than it was originally before the bump - very good work Wink

Dont panic im serching for a Sat Nav where an alternative rout can be found where no ditches are within 50ft of the road Grin

Rain rain again but never mind. Thought i would have a go at starting her up yesterday 1st time since November.

Few coughs and splutters but picked up in the end and runs well without any funny noises. So i must have been lucky on that side of things considering an oil pipe was bust and drained most of the oil out. Forgot how good the Jetex exhaust sounded Shocked

Quick pic between the rain outbursts. Its a proper Vauxhall now its got its badge on Grin
