The 'naff' bit I was talking about was going around the charity shops getting the leather in the first place Wink Wink. I'm glad my input can generate some interest and I'm not going to be alone in doing that. The hardest bit is getting enough leather pants that match in colour and grain, Obviously black is the easiest, there ain't too many pairs of grey pants around. And as for blue, well the colour I'm after is non-existant Cry

Good luck with anything you do. Once I start on mine I will post some pics up so you can see the effect.

Had enough of the wood trim in mine too. Im going to go down the grey route on the gaiter and gearnob then spray the door caps silver. Iv done this before using plastic primer, then deawoo silver followed by laquer, rubbing down with wet and dry in between. Then id like some CDX transfers which will be impossible to get so i may try and make some or something like that

CDX Estate being broke in yard at my end.............body work not too great. 2ltr. but engine is a good one with lots of parts fitted. Has Load cover still fitted. Any one want any small parts? Has Auto box, cruise etc but cloth interior and no heated seats. Rear disks were brand new.

Which bits Pete?  If i knew how to remove them then i have got some on the car that is outside at the moment.  But they seem very hard to remove!!

I also should have a spare wood ashtray & gearlever surround too.  And a few sets of the trim that goes on the door cards!

A few of the dash pieces can be got at, but much easier with dash out, Craig. IIRC, alot of the bits are held in with M8 nuts. Could also do with ashtray and it's mountings, as mine is all fubar.
