well, it's not exactly a muscle car
actually it's a '80 Safari wagon that's gonna be somewhat customized (no neons and modern shit, strictly oldskool stuff)
it's torn apart and slowly being rebuilt. the body is almost finished (had some rusted out spots), front suspension is totally rebuilt and upgraded.
it has the original 301 cui V8 that's refreshed with a bigger-than-stock camshaft and a new set of lifters, new timing chain and sprockets, etc and it'll get a new dual exhaust and new carb. i'd like to get it to close-to-original condition with some custom touches, but it won't be factory original.
i plan to dump the 301 and throw in a carefully tuned 400 with a 4spd trans, but that's another story
hm. or maybe an Omega V8 conversion?
