Next midlands ABS meet Sunday 4th Feb (next Sunday) Donnington Service Area Junction 24 M1 12 noon start.

Hope the weather is a bit better this time.

All welcome-look at other vauxhalls- chat -putting names and faces together- coffee in services in the dry and warm.

Starts at Midday runs till about 2.30 / 3pm time.

i will actually be there in a vauxhall this time Grin

not sure if we`ll be there this week end still trying to saught out a senny or carlton as bjf is still not well . and in this wheather i need a blower unit working . especially if i commingg up the A52  Wink

Good meeting nice weather not a bad turnout but with a couple of differant Marks to see Grin



















2nd prize for that car with a differance that turned up - Dont panic the white Gsi is his as well








Star of the meet which caused a few flutters in the heart region especialy seeing that F word twice in one day Grin
The owner also has a senny as well but needed to bring a few wheels and tyres along

hi guys

sorry i did not make it for this one , i was in liverpool seeing my family . Pity though as i`d like to have had a look at the capri , angela and i have always talked about getting one as a show car . But if i did it would be the last of its generation the 2.8i Brooklands edition .

But i pick up my senny 3.0 24v next week end , so im looking forward to giving those valve`s abit of a breather . Grin

As far as i am aware the fog lights are in the same position that ford fitted them. Not saying that they sit right but its how it was done. Could have been worse the early ones had the wing mirrors on the wing Grin

The capri is only a 1.6 which was what the working man could afford. Its been in the same family for years and is mint. Like it or not one has to admire the dedication to keeping it on the road and in such good condition. Wonder how many thousands of thoes went to scrappy Grin
