Just to clarify, will the senny doorcards cards fit the carlton dash. I know the rears will fit but what about the fronts? If i remove the heater vents and fit the sennys to the door will it shut? Pedro says no, but couldn't be 100% sure

Cheers

Yep  /\  /\  what he said and what pedro said, gappage is the problem. would take fair bit of work to get them to seal for the air vents.

Just did this yesterday, took seats and door cards from my old Senny and stuck them into my Carlton GL - looks the biz, all I need to do is tidy up the end of the dash where the door vents meet, no significant gap or problems, the only thing of note is the two screws that go through the pull handle on the doors have nothing to go into to when you swap them out so you need a couple of those 'push in thread thingies' for the screws to go into as they are the only thing positioned slightly differently.
You will also need to run a new wire in for the door lights, but if you have gone that far then a little wiring job should be fairly straight forward.

Only other thing of note is that the passenger side vent sits a little bit proud of the dash but nothing to cry about, will try and get some pictures up later to show you how it looks, let me fix up the end of the dash first so I can show you a 'before and after' shot.
Total time for a complete swap? About 5 hours for both cars - panels and seats (inc headrests).

Pictures are now under 'Carlton Show Off - My Special GLi'
