Leaky boot

Has anybody experienced water leaks in the boot compartment? It's not the lights or the plastic joint thingy's but seems to come down from the roof quarter direction on both sides.

Blocked sunroof drain pipes?  there's 4 of them, 2 run down each windscreen pillar, the other 2 run down the C pillars.

Just a guess though!!

Sometimes it's the seam underneath the plastic trim on the C pillar.

Well sometimes its the bit that the plastic clips on to, and sometimes it's the seam.

I'll try and get a good look after the holidays.
Climbing into the boot with a torch and get the mrs to hose the back end down, the car that is.

It's an LO with immaculate bodywork, not a bit of rust anywhere, therefore I'm keen to nip this sort of thing in the bud.

I finally got round to fixing my leaky boot. Mine was leaking through the rear window rubber ... here is what I did to fix it ...



Above pic: Lifted up the rubber seal where it meets the glass (the green lines show the area) and squirted silicon sealant into it, putting the silcon sealer nozzle deep under the rubber seal then gently pressed the rubber down onto the glass and wiped off the excess.



Above: The straight green line is where the water would run (on the underside of the metal - guessing because it slopes down a bit) and the green circles are where the water would drip down to.



Above: Lift up the corner rubber seal, insert silicon nozzle and squeeze silicon into here also.

Since doing this (March-ish?) the boot has been dry - *and it peed down this morning* and the boot is still dry so I declare problem solved.

A LO with no rust? now that's a novalty.

I had the same prob with my geesa, but i tried allsorts of things but finaly sorted it .
it was the same side as yours but in the top corner, I put some rust treatment under the seal let it dry and then put some black sealer on and its sorted it , yayyyyyyyy
