You can just change the name in the "name box" then click the button on the right that says "change" and it should remember your name.... or do you mean it doesnt work at all?

TBH it looks like a dead duck at the moment!  Cheesy

its not really the same but if members have MSN.... the messenger thing works well.....and im sure you can have a few users in the same conversation at the same time....

All you have to do is list your hotmail email thingy!? and you can have instant conversations...

Murph help me out here! Grin

Yup - I had a good chat with Iain the other day which could have easily included any other member.

Most of you will know that its free, ridiculously easy to use and you can share files simultaneously with all in the conversation.

All you need is a free Hotmail account and then add members by there email addy - easy!

As much as I hate to line Bill gates's pockets - it's a useful tool.

if you use windows messanger live then you can also chat with yahoo mesanger, msn users and others.
also you can set it up with any email address (you don't have to use a hotmail address)
this may be the case with msn now too but i don't use it on any of my computers.

...From microsoft yes !
but any one with a genuine windows xp disc will have msn on the disc.(unless its a very new copy)
If you have msn installed on your pc then you will need to remove it(in add and remove programs)+,before loading w.m.live or you end up with msn and wml running together.

you probably know this Murph but i thought i would post it for people who don't  Wink
