There was one on ebay the other day for a prefacelift estate, and me being me thinking I was clever bought it complete with the side rails.
When I tried to fix it, the brackets didnt fit the facelift estate that I have. The wheelarch is higher and the angle of the interior bodywork is different. So will have to try to bodge them to fit unless there are other ways to fix them. Cry

Thats strange, Carlton_Mad has later side rails fitted to his estate and theyre fine, and i pulled a set of side rails out of a J reg GLi estate which turned out to be the wider prefacelift ones Huh

Any chance of a piccie of the rails you have?

sorry no photos. the wider rails are prefacelift, the narrower rails are post facelift. there is also a difference with loading the loadcover into the rails, as is the means of locking the loadcover into place. ie prefacelift integral to the side rails, postfacelift seperate fixing to the rear body.

Thats the old type loadcover and rails, Its the type I purchased as I have been unable to find a post facelift one (narrower rails)
I'll pop some photos on here tomorrow.
