Craig usualy pops in if he is not stripping or rebuilding something - i should be there but not in club car unless i can get my son to go up in his senny - Matt (old TC member pops down if he can. Ther is usualy  3/4 gsi and the same of sennys with the odd omega thrown in. Not a huge meet but frendly. Wife and children welcome (well someones got to clear the tables in the cafe Grin)

All will be welcome - turn 1st left to go into carpark drive straight down to the bottom and we usualy park up there.

Starts at noon and runs till about three pm. WE always seem to end up with coffe and cakes in the sevices having a chat about most things.

Take care as the local police have there tea brake up there at the same time so no wheelies across the car park. And the local unmarked motorway motor is a black volvo.

from north come off at junction 24 for sevices (follow airport sighns)

from south come off at 23a follow services sighns

from grantham down A453  to junction 24 Mi follow airport sighs

take care brian

GMC - No its not a 190 csworth . Its what i call an upmarket Nova boy racers car Grin You have seen the Nova with the body kit ,special wheels etc etc but still got the 1200cc engne in but it looks good.

Well this is simular in that the previous owner was trying to make it look like the cosworth one with lowerd suspention, alloy wheels, lowprofile tyres, spoiler etc. But ran out of monie Grin

So after spending around £1000.00 on wheels and tyres alone he has had to get rid as he is now banned. So still got the standard 2000cc engine in and drives like rubbish but looks good if you squint the eyes a bit Wink Still for £300.00 it gets me around so musant grumble.

take care brian

John- will be next summer before it goes at least , when the gsi is back on the road. But will go for sensible price. You will be allowed to park with the rest as it is a Carlton and probably in better condition than some of them Grin

Starting to sort the Merc out there was only 15lbs of pressure in two tyres and 17ibs in the other two. Pummped them up to 28 lbs and now it steers fine without a 3second delay Grin

Found the air filter in three bits and as black as hell, Suspect he had been playing with the mixture as well so get that sorted and should be fine.

Sussed the driving position out as your feet seem to be slightly to the right of your body in relationship to the pedals.

Gsi now around back of house and under cover.

well you would be a fool to sell it to me for what you paid for it as like you have said brian its worth alot more . But glad to hear you got the gsi under cover and out of danger form the wheather  .

My dippy could look better , would not say its the best ,as ive seen one on ebay which looks alot better than mine and in royal blue , if it was not so close to christmas id be so tempted to offer him an price . My body work needs some tlc as that tin worm is starting to show in places and wheather at the moment is to wet and damp to strt doing anything just yet , it dont help not having a garage or somewhere warm and dry to do things. Dont think we have had a meet yet where all carltons have turned up. Some take there Carltons off the road in winter and come in whatever. Some like me dont have the choice Grin After all its the people who are the members not the cars.

Just nice to meet new faces and have a chat and sometimes learn a thing or two.

Take care brian
