has anyone done or does anyone know if you can swap out electric front window regulators for manual ones? I had a look on ebay and corsa ones look a similar layout

It can be done by drilling out the four rivets, removing the mech, then riveting or bolting the replacement mech in place.

Dont know if corsa ones will be man enough but cavalier mk3 ones fit I think.

Piece of piss to do, just need a drill, some rivets & a rivet gun!!

I've done it both ways round (manual to electric on my Senator & electric to manual on my Hybrid Carlton). 

Fronts can be tricky, just remove the runner thats bolted to the inside of the door first & then fit the mechanism & bolt the runner back up after.  You can do it without doing this but for the sake of 2 bolts you may as well take it off!

Obviously Carlton/senator will be best, and if you put a post in "Wanted" you may find someone has a pair.

Failing that I would give Cavalier ones a go, but wouldnt expect an exact fit.
