HMK now that sounds like fun , but i dont drink tea only coffee , so if you chuck in a mug of coffee and a drum kit . we will arange a date .

But it would good if you could make it over mate , unless your planning to watch the footy on sky . Hence the reason why im haviong it this week end , her in doors is a arsenal supporter and so is the father in law , and its a night mare watching them both scream at the tv.

So can i have a show of hands for sunday afternoon .

I would be there if it started earlier!  I could always pop over for a coffee on my way to the ABS meet at Donnington, that's if a go to Donnington!  I may well be crying my eyes out over buying this Senator!!

John, Think it might be better to wait till you get your Carlton fixed & there isn't a clash with ABS meets etc. (ABS meet always clashes with the 'West Ashby' meet - that's why out of the hundreds there, I'm the only Carlton - probably).

If you look on the 'old member map' you'll see that I'm a bit further north towards Lincoln than 'Budgie' & a bit further across to the east than 'Craig' - not that I think those pins are very accurately placed ..........I can always PM you my location anyway

Thats ok fellas , I will set another date before the end of the month and  get the car soughted out before next week end hopefully , as i still would like to get to oxford for the meeting there .Sorry to mess you all about .

If i had thought about it properly yesterday . I could of arranged it with some one to come and picked me up and i could have come along with you to the abs meeting .

Scatman , dont fret about today , like i`ve said it could`nt be helped and it was just my luck this week that the water pump started playing up . But its given me chance to have a look at the car today and do a little bit of work on her . Nothing major , new rocker cover gasket and some nice shiny new bolts for the rocker cover which i got off ebay .
I also gave her a bit of tlc and a bit of a wash and wax  , then the day light ran out so i took her around the block for a little run , and i think she was happy with the tlc as she gave me know bother , but i testing my luck . Just in case.

Apart from being cold the usual  midlands meet with Senny`s and Gsi`s. Few swapping of bits and bonnets up with "how you do that then " sort of questions  Good old chat in the sevices over a cuppa and cake.

ok once ive soughted things out with cars ect .

Would any fancy giving this another go if i find an appropriate date for it , and eny one is welcome to turn up even if its the usual crowd of us . The muddle go nowhere pub has a large carpark and offers two for one meals . so i will come up with a date for march and if you can think of a date let me know.

I think im th only one left in this god forsaken town with a carlton . The black gsi has vanished , and i did see another diamond estate drive past me , but that all so far .
