hi, dont have a part number as i cant find the old one  Roll Eyes and i dont really want to pay vauxhall prices, even with trade club.

got the part number: 90 158 443. I'm going to try in the car again just to make sure its knackered, if no joy i'll need another if anyone has one?

I will have one in a couple of days, but i'm afraid i suspect it's also knackered.  The car it is currently fitted to will not start unless you flick the ignition on & off several times before you turn the engine over.  If you don't do this then the starter will spin the engine over & over but will not fire.  I originally suspected the temp sensor, but it makes no difference whether it's freezing cold or warm outside.  Once running, the car starts fine until the next day!!!

Thought I had a spare, but I don't.

I bought one a couple of years ago from local VX dealer, it was about £13.

Not really gonna break the bank..........

Was that for a 12v or a 24v.

The one Paul needs is for a 12v which have a different part number to the 24v ones.  Although how they are different i'm not sure as they look exactly the same!!
