right question time again . i want to put a couple of the lights u get in sennies and Carlton door cards red/white ones! i have the lights and have figured out how to put them in. question is do the gsi's have the wiring already in-place as we found two female spade connectors hanging free in r/o door, would these be for said lights? if so does any one know which fuse they run off as there is no power present

Yes that is the connector for the door lights, power should be supplied via the courtesy lamp loom/door switches 15amp fuse No 15 in the fuse box

............... will have a fiddle later I protest in the strongest possible manner!!!!!I don't think the good, hard-working and decent people of Total Carlton really need to know your disgusting personal habits, Mr 911! Having said that, the other 99.9% of us do, I guess.............

Tried fitting these to mine today, the connectors are there but definately no power getting to them. Do they come on with the doors open? or do you need headlights on or maybe ign?
Also how have people mounted these in their carltons? I expected there to be something like a marked out section on the reverse of the doorcard that could be just pushed out - but no such luck obviously. Anyone got pictures?

If you unhook the plug at the door shut you will be able to see if the feed is missing - the amount of pins in the plug (door) will be more than in the socket (pillar).
Should give you a place to start anyway.

My understanding is that the wiring is there on the dip's and gsi's but not in the lower spec models such as the CDX
