Welcome there,

Sorry I took so long to reply, but PC sick.

Nice looking car!

At least I am sane.

Regards

Carltonman.

PS - I have a Calibra also. Not as much fun as a RWD.

Yes Im also a member of the manta club (same user name), with 2 of em which are currently off the road, one has the 16v redtop conversion and the other will be running a 24v carlton gsi lump (along with everything else from the carly including the rear axle dash etc) as soon as ive finished welding it all together, it'll also be having the full 400 bodykit.

Ive not had a proper chance to see what its capable of.  Once its running its going to the bodyshop, then back to the garage to get manta dash connected and then mechanical parts will be overhauled and then ill do some testing.

From what i've heard of Manjta's with C30SE engines in, they go like stink (low weight) but don't like going round corners as the big engine upsets the handling somewhat!!

Thats exactly what ive been told.  Its possible to push the engine back through the bulkhead but at that cost id rather get a calibra turbo engine conversion, but thats something way off in the future.
