Ive Just heard from a mate that the annual classic car show at Rothsey has changed location due to travel problems! i.e the ferry cannae cope!
It has changed to Knockhill and it is on the 23rd July (Sun)
I know this was/is a big show but im unsure of exact details...like whether you can get a blast round the track or not!!?
If your interested in going to this,probably be best to either check the Net or even phone Knockhill to see what the story is....
Apparently if you take a classic car with you you get in for free...dont know about that for sure though...i will try to find out more details.
The 6th of August is the former Culzean show which is now at Eglinton Park in Irvine near Kilwinning...was a good show last year
The 20th of August is Chatelherault Hamilton...which was also good last year,although was a nightmare to get out of the carpark at the end of it!! leave an hour before it finishes!
The 27th of August is Callander which was not so good last year due to the fact that the rain never let up once!!
These shows are general shows and not purely GM stuff but,good days out if you love cars!
I will probably stick in the Monza(or 2) to a couple this year...i usually team up with Clan Manta and last year he wanted me to put my Omega on the stand,so im quite sure i could put on the Carlton too!..
Any of the Scottish connection want to get together and arrange a meet then im up for it!
