hi there, i have got a kenwood graphic/equaliser, wired it up to my radio throught the speaker wires, via crimps, so the wiring goes speaker wire from radio crimped to the speaker wires from graphic then the remainder of the speaker wire are crimped to the radio and graphic equaliser, all the polarity is correct, amp works (swows the something on the graphic bit of it) but i get an awful amount of feedback, squeking noises (horrible) and the radio gets super duper hot within seconds of playin the feedback,

Flash911 and i have been ripping our hair out trying to find out why this is i really want it working again

(btw it did work)

hi adding any graphics will give /boost any unwanted noise  i have a £400 alpine eq and even that does
would be better to use phono leads from head to eq to amp
silly Q but are the inputs going in not to the output ?

Not a silly Q mate, i found the problemo  Grin Grin, when i wiried in my graphic i just joined it tothe original wiring (DO not do this) as the graphic will bee trying to boost  the radio, thinking that it is a speaker, and in return the radio will get super hot, and feedback will be givin to all the speakers, basically my problem was conecting to the original wiring with the radio attached, and there was no input to the equaliser from the radio, so what i did was cut the phone input leads and separate the in core lead from the sheath and expireimented, with the output wires from the radio, and bobs ya uncle and fannys ya aunt super duper radio out put, works great now  Grin Wink Cheesy Smiley
