Can anyone tell me if the alternator on the 2.6 would be different from an Auto to a Manual ?
Dont think so but a guy wants to buy mine and has been told they are different.

The one from the auto may have a slightly higher output in order to cope with all the extra gubbins associated with the transmission.

I have swapped alternators between auto and maual 2.0's without a problem.
