On sunday i decided to purchase an ex police L reg senator 24v, in white (oh my god what a surprise)

Anyhow, got it from the guy's house, was suspected head gasket on its way out so it was being driven steady by my mate.. it only had to make it about 9 miles back to my house where it could sit there.. but no! 15 minutes and 7.3 miles later.. it conked out LMAO

headgasket had definitly gone and drank about 10 litres of water in that time!

And here's an advert for the RAC... 4 hours waiting to be recovered and lots of messing about! telling us many different times of when a recovery firm could make it out!

Anyhow, the engine i wanted for a rebuild anyway and im going to be pulling it apart during the week.

And if you want a laugh at my poor gsi carlton head into the carlton show off forum and check out the rusty sills man  Grin

Yes will need some adjustment for the next car! I need/want t=it to be stronger to help strengthen the car.

I have to say we were looking at the car after we cut it and I was so suprised how thin the floor is and how there is no re-enforcement to the floor between the front and back........ Scary $hit Shocked

I can understand how cars fold so easy now.
