Ey Oop, Rob - welcome mate.

Poxy crappy V6 engines - I have three. A dead 'un in a Vectra, one in a Meega Elite and now a Cav redtop one to replace the Vectra one.

Not a patch on a straight six - be it 12 or 24V, but very light and compact. I think the V6 is a great basic design, but suffer from a weak oil pumps, heat exchanger/oil cooler and thermostat housing in an "ingenious space saving exercise",  only designed to be fiddled with dealerships only. Crap!
Oh yeah - too many sensors and vacuum hoses, electronic wizardry and ...............Great Crivens, I could go on forever!

no probs thanks lads, i love the omega but as you say diffucult to fix somtimes. they also suffer from exhaust manifold gaskets going. plus timing belts and rollors need replacing every 40,000. mine are all done. engine i have is from a 12v senator 48,000 when i got it years ago from a breakers for my senny but sold the car so i need to get rid of as soon as poss as its now taking up room £50 eneyone. ive got a engine hoist here so can lift it onto a trailer.
