Vectra door handles ........will they fit??

Alright people, just a quick question, i'm looking for a few little 'finishing touches' for the carlton and was wondering wether vectra door handles will fit the carlton, they look about the same size so would imagine they would fit in the hole i just didn't know wether the mechanism was similar i.e with the push down rod that opens the door from the handle e.t.c?

Early vectra on cavalier handles will fit - I have seen it done and had to resort to a cally one myself when I broke one of mine.

Late vectra ones are a different shape so no go.

Yep - I replied on ABS, but for everyone here...........

They fit quite well, but the rears needed a little jiggery-pokery to work.

No real probs though.

what vectra handles do fit then?

early vectra = vectra B (the one with the spectacular side mirrors, starting from the bonnet)?
(pre/post facelift: only difference was the bootlid pannel I thought )

as our vectra A is the cavalier in the UK...


just wanted to make sure, as I also got the standard grey plastic ones...

The ones that dont fit are obviously different - they are raked toward the rear.

Vectra A (Cavalier) - aren't they the same as  Carlton (Omega A) handles?

I fitted Vectra B handles to my Carlton.................or Vectra B handles to my Omega A!
