we had to use the cavalier pump bracket because the old one wouldnt fit the newer block casting even then it had to modified with spacers and stuff to get the ol carlton pump wheel to line up with the bottom pulley the best i can give you is a pic for further details you,d best ask pheonixc as he,d got it all sorted by the time i,d arrived that evning lol. the complete job, notice i stiil havnt covered the ecu oh yes i forgot to mention , i lowered the back end the other day so it doesnt look like its got a seventies jack up kit on it anymore. just need to find a set of decent rims for it now. i want something no more than 15" with A LOT of dish , something along these lines no luck so far tho as the vw golf boys all want deep dish rims too and have driven up the prices beyond mere mortals like myself

will BMW rims fit ? The manta boys like to use them, as I have. I would have XE'd too (finances allowing)

find a nice set of dippy alloys or cdx allys , they might fit and will look pretty smart on a mk2

I stand corrected carlton_mad , my humble appologies what about 14" allys from a cav diplomat or gsi , would they fit ok as most cavs allys are 4 stud , or do they have to be 15" for the carlton mk2 .

MK2's had 14" as standard but as always there is the issue of the offset fwd wheels will need spacers which isnt (in my book) a good idea i would go for some beemer alloys or some such as these go straight on and look quite cool

hello everyone, havnt posted on here for a while, nice to see a few more mk2,s turning up too. well ive still got the old girl, shes running fine and dandy although the bodyworks starting to suffer a bit, nothing bad tho , a bit of elbow grease and some rattle cans will sort the surface crap out. i will admit i sold her to entwhistlecymru last year, chris sorted out the few problems she had, and then i bought her back!!! i missed her so much i sank into a depresion while she was in wales lol.
ive been looking for a spares car with a nice interior for a while now but no luck so far, was gutted to miss out on the 2.2cd estate on ebay last week, did anyone on here buy it? hey ho, never mind. if anyone has a spare mk2 cd or a senny A with a red interior for sale, please let me know.
all the best folks jack
