hi all , just found this place , some really cool rides on here, already bstardchild from the retro -rides forum.
anywoo may i present my mk1/faceliftmk2 whatever carlton 1.8 base model estate.
bought last year for £400 quid reading 37000 miles, one owner from new and very shiny indeed.
now shes got 45000 miles on here and a few scabs showing , so, shes going in for a bottom half respay next month.

just bought a set of cheap wolfrace octane 17"s off the bay and now she looks like this

and within a month or so she,ll look like this

any one else on here got this model, or a variation of it?

Welcome and what a stunning estate

I like the way you are going with the wheels too - they looked a bit fussy and shiney in the middle pic but the bottom bowled me over!!!

Hi and welcome to TC!

Stunning car, stunning mileage and do you want to sell it? LOL!!

It looks better in the third pic cos it looks lower, but I prefer the chrome wheels (old hot rodder in me I guess - ooh err, that sounds a bit gay, doesn't it! LOL!), but your car, you enjoy it your way!

I'm loving it!

WTF am I on tonight?

Ace car chap, and welcome to the site Smiley

Car needs a bit of slammage and spacerage IMHO, but otherwise looks minty from those photos (well, for a Mk2 anyhow! They are getting old these days!)

Good to have some of the older ones on here. Smiley

That's a bugger for you matey. Undecided

Have you tried http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Opel-Classic-Parts-Center

OK, so it's all in German, but if you speak German, then that's no problem!

Seriously, I use Google's translator (on the Google homepage), it's a bit literal, but get's ya through!

My german friend says its normally best to give them a clear well written english email and 90% will understand.
