right basically i was thinkin of retrimming the rear parcel shelf

is the material thats attached glued straight to the metal shelf?

or is there a removable bit that can be removed then retrimmed an refitted?

any info appreciated

Whole shelf is carpet glued to hardboard backing - totally removable

You want to take some pics? I should do mine aswell, due tue glue coming off, stains etc...
but never tried to get it out, didn't know it was removeable.

Shelf is basically a metal frame, right?

Hardest bit is getting the plastic mouldings out that the headrests lock into. Right fiddly, but once they're out, the rest is kinda self-explanatory. Speaker grilles prise off(carefully), you can leave the speakers alone, and the whole shelf is held in with a few trim clips (like doorcard ones that snap!)

Mind the vent cover at the rear, as sometimes the mounting clips like to break off.........and the foam stuff under it can be bloody awkward to re-fit.
