Hello everyone!
Thought it was about time I posted a picture of my carlton.  It’s a ’93 CDi Estate, bought from e-bay a few months ago.
It’s in pretty good condition with very little rust and all the electrics working.  So far it’s proving very reliable – 5,000 miles clocked up in just over two months without problem.

Work done so far:
-New petrol tank fitted.
-One anti roll bar link replaced (other to follow shortly)
-Front indicators replaced (the outer covers flew off them both within 2 weeks of each other)
-New radiator header tank and engine temperature sensor

I’ll try and get a few more photos soon.

Lush wheels matey!

Wanna sell it?

Seriously, that looks spot on!

Hope you find the company on here as good your favourite armchair.

Thanks all, glad you like it.
It's actually my second carlton - the first was a '92 GL which I had until a couple of years ago. (I had an omega in between but it wasn't quite the same - How many others have gone carlton to omega and then back to a carlton?)

Sorry Pedro, this ones definitely not for sale just yet!!

Just found a picture of the old carlton:

ps my pin is now in the map.

No worries - so the search continues.

I have my £12 67 in my pocket still, and it's starting to burn a hole.............

Yummy looking motor. I had those type of wheels on my old H Reg 2.0 GLi (RIP)(obtained from a CDX in a Somerset scrapyard) ...

It makes the car look absolutely stunning when the wheels are gleaming ...

Best is thorughough ash, then alloy wheel foam spray left for 5 mins then another good scrubbing with a brush did the trick for me - lots of elbow grease but they are really cool wheels when glowing Smiley

Just doing what I can with what I've got ...
