what do you want total carlton to be???

right 2 members have mention this to me
inunder 2 months we have 30" users" and id say 10 are perment members myself dtm urban budgie corky gerogie boy just to name a few.
im frankly amazed how well this sites going,
so where would you like this club to go?do you want use to stay internet based,or would you like us recongised as a club?would you like us to have our own stand are billing?
this is a promise as soon as we have 50 members i will organise a meet maybe a frosty meet(winter meet).

but i need your help,.i want every carlton you see,put a flyer under it,whenever you see a carlton drive the other way,flash and wave.

the next 5 years is vitual to the carlton survial,the next 5 yrs is when most people will see them as old bangers!,if a awareness is made of the carlton,then people may save them,
plus if the car has a club,then you may as a recongised car club to right out a vauleation for your car.
so it could save you money.

however i want your opions,

I think staying as a Internet based group is best for now. To become a "Carlton Club" would be really good, and to involve more than the GSI (which is where the AB fall down on these cars). The car is not known as a classic car(which is shame) but with enough follower's it could raise the value...... but why do you want to sell it!!!

Whatever happens let's keep it friendly!

yea i think its best 2 stay internet based 4 now, ppl r 2 spread out 2 meet up but as we get more members we'll be able 2 arrange local meets

2 be honest i didnt think any1 else was really in2 there carlton's i seemed 2 be the only 1 but like u said there's 30 in 2months that have found this site so i'm sure this site will grow an grow

i agree with blippi..there aint really enough of us yet..but like u say if we all make people aware of the site and how good the carlton is then it wont be long before we could become a club.and have some good meets and du some shows etc..already one of my work mates is lookin for a carlton and it wont be long before he joins the site..anyway that doesnt stop u planning a winter meet for all us that r on now

I agree, lets stay web based for the time being, we have a good forum at the moment, thanks to all involved! I certainly know for a fact nobody i know would go out and buy a carlton as their next car.. but they respect them as what they are. Which is a start! I've been doing my bit!
