Right - The Louts is gay-free!!!!! Took about an hour to do it, and apart from testing the speedo and the oil light doesn't come on, it's all good! I had to add a wire from the clock light to pin1 on the 14 pin plug to get the dash lights on, but no worries (I have a couple of old wiring harnesses to butcher and rob from). I haven't bothered with the check control side of things - might have summat to do with the oil light, but I can wire that directly from the sender according to the HJB. Ohm and the sender wire is broken - must have caught it at some point  Many thanks to Mr. Chaz! |

My GSi is proper gay. As well as having an early digi-dash (the early one with the check control lights where they are normally on an analogue dash), the car is a nice shade of flame pink!!

No matey - I bought some from ebay a couple of years ago (make that nearly four!), when I started the project as I knew that one day, I would have them fitted! The removeable bit with the oil, rad, washer level and a couple of brake lights had a different connector on it though - just swapped that for the standard one from yet another set of (non claibrated) clocks. Still have to get oil light working though! Bah, it looks reet champion! |

They do look good, Mr. Mad but they're white faced and I'm hoping Mr. Blue will be soon having my nice blue clock faces done soon!
As an aside, where could I get another switch from?
I was thinking of a "motorsport" type that lights up when the pressure is down to 25psi instead of the usual 5psi (you engine's usually fooked by then!)
I'll have a look at Demon Tweeks - that sounds a good place to start!
